Space Elevator Lab

A workbench for a tethered Earth-to-geostationary space elevator. Ride the cabin from the ground to the counterweight and see what a passenger experiences, then explore tether taper and materials, climber energy, and protection from debris, corrosion and communications failure.

AI accessibility · Provisional patent No. 2026902404, filed 20 March 2026

EyeSpy

An AI-powered accessibility app that identifies objects aloud and guides a user's hand to them in real time.

How it works

  1. Ask. The user says what they're looking for, in ordinary speech, such as "Help me find my teaspoon."
  2. Find. The phone camera scans the room and AI image analysis picks out the requested object.
  3. Describe. The app says where it is, using direction, distance and surface, such as "On the table to your right, about one metre away," so the user can move close.
  4. Guide the hand. Up close, the camera tracks both the object and the user's hand and keeps giving small spoken directions ("a little left", "slightly higher") until the hand reaches the object. This step is the core of the invention.

Everything is spoken, so no screen is needed. It runs in the browser on ordinary Android and iPhone handsets, with no special hardware or app-store install.

Autonomous robotics · Provisional patent No. 2026902405, filed 20 March 2026

AutoDust

Autonomous waterless vehicle cleaning using an electrostatic mechanism, delivered as Hardware-as-a-Service.

How it works

An autonomous robot cleans the outside of a vehicle without water. It detects the vehicle's surface, removes dust from it, and can be run remotely across a whole fleet of vehicles rather than one at a time.
